Cheap/Discount/Bargain airline tickets online?

What is the best? I need cheap tickets really quick...

More specifically, looking for flights to London, UK (LGW, LHR)from either Toronto (YYZ) or Detroit (DTW) return...

Got a wedding to go to the weekend of the 22nd, want to leave towards the end of the week prior, and come back early the week after, so like 5-6 days ideally...

Any suggestions? I don't care about stopovers, times etc really.. I just need to get the tickets sorted fast so I can apply for the tie off work.

I've tried canadianaffairs.ca, zoomairlines, orbitz etc..

Anyone else have good recomendations for getting cheap as fook airfare for england?

Air Canada has some very reasonable rates right now. Under 600$ return for direct flights. Check out their website.

you can also check out flightcentre.ca and redtag.ca.. they sometimes have some great deals as well.

HOLY HELL AIRCANADA IS CHEAP AS FOOK!!! Figured they would be expensive, last time I flew them short notice my tickets were $1000+!

$570 roundtrip with all taxes, fuel charges etc... WAY cheaper than anything else i've seen so far!

Gonna go check with CAA tommorow, see if there is anything more with member deals, but looks like Air Canada is the one so far.. especially since they got a really late 11pm flight which means that's one less day I have to take off work...

I'm looking to fly there too...

Have been looking at prices.

It seems like close to $700 flying out of Toronto...but like $400US out of Buffalo.

If you have a way of getting to Buffalo so much cheaper! Only downside is I believe no direct flights from Buffalo. Always ened to make one or two stop overs.

does anyone know of any cheap charter airlines that fly within South America?

Posted by Mach X on Sep-12-2007 04:28:

Well I booked my flights... managed to get out of here Late thursday night from Detroit and back on Wednesday early afternoon for $690 Canadian with all taxes and shit and it's business class! So free booze!

A little bit more $$$, but I will save and make money since now I am taking two less days off work since I can work the eraly shift on thursday, and work the night shift on Wednesday when I return... so two extra days of work which I wouldn't have made money. And I don't have to drive up to Toronto and park my car for a week at the park and fly..

It just made more sense, get a buddy to drive me over to Detroit for here, only a 30 mins drive...

Thanks for all the help guys! I now know where I am going to check flights (earlier this time) for this summer when I want to jet out there for a few weeks instead of 5 measly days...

Canadian Affairs seems like a proper mint deal... the Toronto to Birmingham, but then I have to get a train or connect flight to london where I am staying which will add to the cost...

Can't wait to go! Anyone need anything from Engurland?

Canadian Affair and Air Transat are wonderful - I have used them 4 out of 5 times in the last year. Check both pages and be ready to book when you check as prices fluctuate DAILY.

Also regarding the trains, try and fly into where you are going exactly. UK trains are NOT cheap - especially at peak travel time (7-10 am; 3-6 pm) and it can cost you upwards of 50 pounds one way to get from Birmingham to London. Take a bus instead --> www.nationalexpress.com
