Final Scratch just crapped out on me :(

I have the old final scratch (1.5) and it just crapped out on me. It gets stuck on calibrating for the left turntable. I have tried reinstalling and everything.

Guess I gotta go buy Serato now.

Mine did the same thing last summer, wont calibrate either TT, I figured it was a peice of old shit. If anyone has any tips on how to make it run again, that would be cool. But i like my cdj's better anyways.

My FS 2.0 wouldn't calibrate one night either, and after an hour of messing around, shutting down the comp, etc etc, i found that while cleaning my needle, it somehow had rotated, so that the needle didnt fit in the groove perfectly flush on the FS record, thus it wouldn't recognize the calibration signal. My regular vinyl would still play with the needle this way. May be something to check....I haven't heard where the box completely craps out all at once, and now I'm still banging away with the FS and my Technics. Worth a shot anyways.....

hmmm, ive changed needles and carts, but nothing new though, might be worth a shot, maybe even some new FS vinyls would help.

I feel ya. My scratch amp started doing this pop/click thing recently.

First time around the problem was that. I checked that and the needles are straight.

-_-

Which one, and why?

My 200's are still chugging along fine. I thought one of them was breaking but it ended up just being the cd.
