Your Opinion on Trance Djs

Hey guys!

This thread is just for fun to see Montreal's T A opinion towards Trance/Progressive dj's that you would like to see live in our city.

Recently, Signalrunners released very great uplifiting songs and I'd love to see these guys somewhere

Smith & Pledger are pretty good also...

But still, if I had to choose 2, it would be Robert Nickson & Mike Nichol. They spun at an event in Australia few weeks ago and they blew the roof off. Nickson does relaxing stuff while Nichol with his track Durado is killing the dancefloor.

I have a few tunes by Robert which I very much enjoy, Would love to see him here one day.

IMO, he's one of the best producer in Trance. He does not produce a lot, but when he does it's pretty good. His remix of Tri-State (Above & Beyond) is a masterpiece in my opinion.

Take a look at Mike Nichol also if you don't know the guy. Check his myspace. Durado is his best song and playing at most events right now, but he did a remix of Meridian - Emphase lately, which is as good or even better than Durado. And over all this, one of the first song of Nichol was Paradigm, which was remixed by Robert Nickson and Thomas Datt. Masterpiece for me

I fuckin love it when people start on this Trance-bashing kick and use words like "it's all the same shit" and "30 min STUPID build-ups" and "hands in the air" to support something that is nothing more than your OWN OPINION.

You don't like Trance, and that's fine, we don't have to like the same shit. But have a little respect and let us, the people that like it, discuss and share ideas about it..You just do not miss one occasion to bash it as much as you can. And it's getting booooring to be honnest.

I, as i've said more than once around here, once liked trance, but it's still the same music now, as it was before, and that's why i grew tired of it. It's not growing, it's not moving anywhere, it's not evolving and it's taking itself so seriously that it's not even letting itself be influenced by any other "genre" of music.

Yeah I don't like trance, but i'm still an Mtlta, and as long as i'll be one, I'll be posting in any thread I want to, either you like it or not.

couldn't say better. I don't really like House but I don't bash on people who does. I expect to be respected as well when it comes to Trance.

It's always the same people who bashes over us. Someday, maybe malek will have to do something about it, like he did with jay.
