Passion is a world renowned clubbing brand spearheaded by by JFK. His promotions over the years have given this legendry night some trueley huge lineups and established itself as having one of the best atmospheres in the UK. Genix started producing records many years ago and gained his first record deal when he was just 18.

His love of dance music and determination to get his unique sound rocking dance floors has led to him DJing across the UK and trotting the globe with his records, rubbing shoulders with many a-list DJs on the way.

Gaining support with his productions from all the major DJs Genix has gained a hat full of recording contracts, along with establishing his own record label.

This has led to remix work for huge artists on their new releases including work for Pulser, Jan Johnston, Markus Schulz, M.I.K.E and Agnelli & Nelson and JFK to name a few.

Genix put his producing fingers to one of this years biggest dancefloor hits. Rocking festivals such as Global Gathering, Gatecrasher SS, Colorsfest & Radio 1 big weekend with his rework of Red Hot Chilli Peppers Waiting For track.

Consecutive plays over the past 4 months on BBC radio 1 from Judge Jules saw this get signed up to trance super label Spinnin Records.

As if working alongside the biggest labels, artists & promoters wasnt enough to achieve at such a young age, still only 23 he is also the Official Guinness World Record holder for the longest DJ set in history with a massive 84 hour set!

His new track Phused will soon be released on Reset Records (Spinnin) and is already being hammered by the elite djs across the globe. Coming with remixes from, Marcus Schossow & Digital Nature!!

JFK has been helping nurture his talent and give him career advice over the last two years and feels that the time is now right for him to step up to becoming the new Passion resident.

I have seen him mature as a DJ, producer and a person, he has a lot to offer this scene and is completely grounded he will go a long way welcome to Passion

Passion is a load of shite. Nowhere else in the world will you ever experience as many freaks in one building as you will inside the Emporium.

Shit club. Shit people. Shit residents. Fuck off.

You obviusly have no fucking clue. If you want a good trance night, Passion is probably THE club to go to in England when they have a good line up.

What does getting a production contract at 18 have to do with being a good resident DJ?

He has no unique sound, He really is just the same as any of the other candidate residents.

Oh no. I've struck a nerve with one of the local trance gimps.

wow

i loled

what does the "SS" stand for in paSSion?

or was that just a "cool future font" you picked

Look forward to seeing him there with PVD on the 6th October!
This is probably one reason why the trance scene is dead with the same boring artists. Give other people a chance!

I've only been to the Emporium once before.. And I can say that it had a brilliant atmosphere, the people were genuinely there for the music, ok, they may be a bit die hard but I would rather them than people stand around looking cool at the bar and go just because its a big brand name... ie. Godskitchen.

I work at Air and can safely say most the people are the same faces monthly.

Holy shit. What's with all the player-hating?

Just be happy for him, obviously he's worked hard to get there.

My thoughts exactly, I've known Genix for sometime now, I've DJ'd at a fair few nights with him from small bars to clubs and he's just climbed the ladder and to be fair I've seen him do it.

His productions I find of a higher caliber than most and he's getting more and more versatile.

He has achived a fair bit to be honest and has worked at it to get some recognition which is now coming from the looks of things.

Good luck to him I say, just dont see why people have to bitch.

People seriously need to stop hating on Genix and on Passion.
Let's see these bashers get a residency there, or let's hear their productions and compare them with those of Genix.

This place is still knowm as TRANCEADDICT. A high profile club with a fairly high profile upcoming talent associated with Trance is something that I bet interests a good number of fans from all over the globe. As such, this piece of news pertains to more then just a regional scene.
