[OFFICIAL] 2007-2008 NHL Season

I know there is an NHL thread, but we need one for the upcoming season.

Preseason starts later this month. I can't wait until this season starts

I looked forward the whole day for that game and than 5 minutes into it 0-3 great

man, emery was amazing and friggin' lucky at the same time. Canadiens hit the post 4 times that game and Emery made some amazing stops which broke Canadiens back, even though they played some great hockey... oh well, there's some days where you just can't win.

wow...hockey is such a popular sport on this board eh? 11 posts since September, including mine!! oh well.

I'm loving the Leafs wallowing at the bottom of the league and Montreal among the Top 5 teams this year. Bob Gainey knows what he's doing and should not be doubted. That said, I think they could use a bigger forward and another goal scorer because playoff hockey is different and the fast little guys will no doubt get pushed around.

Bleu. Blanc. Rouge.

Big time Avs fan here. To the above poster.. Read earlier the Habs are talking to the Hawks about Havlat.

Rangers winning back to back games this weekend

5-1 win against the Sabres
3-1 win against the Sharks

I just wish they played like this more consistently

Its a shame the kings keep getting nowhere with their wonderful draft positions :P hahah

Though im not going to lie. I would like to be at the ESPN zone at dinseyland again like last year when they won.. probably the most energy ive felt at a hockey event ever :P

Chimera must be the happiest person in NYC right now since Forsberg is coming back home to the Avs, if anything for sentimental reasons.

What in the world was Bob Gainey thinking?

Pittsburgh were huge winners on this deadline day.

I still need some time to figure out/digest the trade the Rangers made. My reaction to that trade was an honest

Gill is one of my favourite players ever, we had him in Finland during lockdown, 31 2+8=10. And talk about a team player
Its nice to see a pro come here and simply do his job, work his arse off every single night, cant say the same about Avery and Madden, talk about lack of motivation.
