How often do you actually listen to EDM?

The ongoing MTLTA forum debate about trance gave me an idea.. not sure where I'm going with this but I'm curious to see just how much time we TA's spend listening to the beats weekly (no surprise if this poll has been done before).

I'm expecting those who do this for a career to have some astronomical numbers in here. Anyways, keep in mind the hours listened to when you go out to clubs, or even if your music is on while you sleep. Me, about 20 or so hours per week.

I'm quite curious to know just how possessed we are by the beats

i always keep music playn even when i sleep, i cant be without music in the background... so adds up more than 30h i guess...

on average, an hour, maybe 2 a day since sometimes I don't listen to at all for many days and then listen to it for 10 hours in one day while working.

I remember there was a time that I couldn't be doing anything without some trance in my ears though.

I don't listen to it at work, I generally don't listen to it after work either.. usually just on the weekends. So maybe 10-20 hours a week.

I enjoy listening to other genres of music throughout the week. (I have to at work anyhow so it is a good change for me)

I try to always have music in the background while i'm working and listen to music to and from work everyday.

I don't listen to to much music when i'm at home. And if I go out on the weekend (maybe every other week) I listen music at a club for like 7+ hours lol

i turn on the beats from the moment i walk in from work till I hit bed. + all the music on the wkend.

i fall in the 30-59 class. maybe 40-45.

this includes listening to it during the commute, to and from school, at home, both when just chilling out or doing homework, when im on the mixer, or the COUNTLESS hours spent on beatport and cytopia, as well as other music download sites looking for good tracks.

edit: also, if charged enough and if i've found sme good tracks that night, i'll put my ipod on sleep timer before i fall asleep

Right now I'm only listening on my commute and not even all of it if I am doing readings for school and want to concentrate.

I can't listen to music in the background because I listen so intently that it's impossible to really do anything else at the same time.

lol. I can't listen to music if I'm writing an essay or doing an assignment, but I like music when I'm reading.

Somehow my brain can pay attention to two things at a time as I caught myself reading and bobbing my head unintentionally few times today
