Differences in CDJ1000 models
I'm sure there's a thread in the DJ Booth but I couldn't find it, and I'm not gonna ask there cuz I'm sure I'll get flamed haha.
Anyways, I'm all about vinyl and Torq and shit, but I got me some CDJ1000 (original ones) and they're pretty sweet, but I'm sure the newer models have some better shit. Can anyone break down what the MK2's have that the originals don't, and what the MK3's have that the MK2's don't?
I saw a comparison chart on Pioneer's site but that doesn't really help much, it just lists some features but not changes.
Thanks in advance.
Basically, I believe the major differences are as follows:
CDJ-1000 MK1 - Original version, you already know about it.
MK2- Faster load speed, better firmware for increased pitch accuracy. Zero lag in vinyl mode, more accurate Wav reading, tighter platter feel, pitch slider range changed from 6/10/16/24% on the MK1 to 6/10/16/100%.
MK3- Even faster load/read speed, mk3 file reading capability, adjustable platter feel from very loose to very tight, much improved wav read out. HUGE downside, tends to be glitchy, especially without the firmware upgrade.
