Can someone explain what I just watched. I don't quite understand why they were doing that. Was this a one-time event, or is it a part of Korean baseball culture?

What the fuck.

i assume that since the batter wasnt really that hurt by the pitch, it was all in fun, and he was faking like he was going to attack the pitcher. after all the other teammates saw that, they joined in.

or maybe since koreans are so into gaming they are actually applying a new move therefore harnassing energy to do some crazy combo move.

like raising his mana or something.

koreans have enough mana for any attack.... they need not harness it.

It's traditional Korean game called dak ssa uhm (literal translation: chicken fight or cock fight) simulating guess what, a chicken fight.

Objective of the game is to knock your opponent off balance by hitting the raise part of the leg against the opponent's leg.

Kinda looks ridiculous hopping around like that

Sorta. Koreans have their own version called Tang Soo Do which I believe Chuck Norris took so it must kick ass, right?

Also there's tae kwon do (the kicking one), hapkido (aikido in Japanese) and few other lesser known martial arts. (like you gotta go to middle of buttfuck, nowhere mountain to learn)
