Closing out a massive: House, Trance or Techno???

As some may have noticed in the TOTA forum, House and Trance are almost in a deadlock when it comes to TA music preference (keep in mind the poll is not representative of TA as a whole, but certainly of the TO area):

http://www.tranceaddict.com/forums/...7&forumid=12&s=

TA has its share of house, trance and techno fans, so it makes good business sense to book artists from the different genres, indeed (when it comes to these massives). Unfortunately, in one-room venues such as the Bell Centre, the order of dj sets takes on an even more prominent role in determining the overall vibe of these afterhour parties, in my opinion.

The reason for a poll is that having a thread filled with comments alone would only end in considerable flaming, and that would not convey much to organisations such as Balenblanc, aside from the notion that TAs are a fickle, whiney lot

TOTA BBQ. Pretty much house all day, and an awesome trance set to close out the night. Househeads with hands in the air. Good times

Ottawa BBQ: settle for classic rock while we dream of partying in Montreal or Toronto. The other way works well too.. trance to pick everyone up then house to get you into the late night groove.

In fact I think it would be really cool if massives in this city had a chillout/downtempo area... even if it was small or something, would be neat. a place to just kick it at a huge party...

seen it done at a bunch of raves (yes, raves), always cool

If I was spinning it would be happy hard country to close things out.....nothing like line dancing to a track about your dog dying at 200 bpm

Techno - Trance - House.... for a perfect night

!?

The house crowd is usualy older and they drink more, so it makes more sense($$) to hear house music during drinking-hours !

I'm not sure if Balenblanc keeps concession sales re alcohol .. it may all go to Gillett and the Centre Bell, so that may not be a big factor there. And we can't forget water sales too, since they were charging $5.50 for bottled water at Sensation

'Would like to see Creator close out Resolution, personally.

Definitely close with house or a remix of an old, non-electronic track.
