hey, I really need to know how to link cubase sx3s faders to be controlled by a KORG KONTROL49.

Please anybody share any info about getting it to work with any of these controllers.

Cubase is a bit of a bitch as there is no midi learn, do a search here in this forum, i posted instructions on how to do it some time ago, hopefully they can help you
i think there may be some website on the net as well on how to map midi controllers to faders, cant remember the link tho...........

Generic Remote. Look it up in the manual.

Arrrr Farrris be right.

Create a generic remote in device setup. Then within the generic remote select "Keystation IN" (for ex. I use a Radium 49). Then assign the different faders/knobs to whatever you want.

Pretty easy.

ok so now i can control the faders of the mixer with the faders on my k49, and the panners with the little knob above each of the faders.

however i cant seem to utilize the pads on my k49. The only other things to assign left are "mute" and "send", none of which corresponds to the pads.

I know in the lower window i just have to select transport>device>start to make something trigger play in transport bar, but how do i make it react to the pads on the k49?

basically i want the top 4 pads on my k49 to be play/stop/pause/rec.

Pshh.

Select "Mute 1" for example, in the top area of the Generic Remote, hit "learn" and tap at the pad you want to assign.

Then go to the bottom area where you assign stuff.

Find Mute 1, Device "Transport" Channel/Category "Device" Value/Action "start"

Shouldn't you be figuring this stuff out by yourself big boy?
