The new Jens Bond remix of Changing Lanes is bad ass. I'll give it a listen, just stop posting the genres of your mix in the title...because this isnt minimal at all(you only get the chill out labeled right)

Hi matey !!

I was just going to suggest you take a look at [[ LINK REMOVED ]]
for hosting. It is completely free with no caps on downloads or time hosted etc. It is a part of facebook.com I think....

I have my last 6 mixes on there now and the fun thing is you can monitor how many times it is downloaded and from what link if you have your mix on more than 1 forum

Thats enough of my waffle for now .

My God, I'm wondering if this deal is as good as it sounds?

Nice artwork for your cover.

Well it wasn't horrible, bt I didn't enjoy this very much. ( And i like most of the tracks.) This feels forced and the flow isn't there. I know you releases alot of mixes and that might be the problem. Its almost like you can feel you thinking "what tune that I haven't used do I have that I can play next". I was thinking of doing a whole bunch of sets too, but I scraped them because they felt the same way. I think sometimes its better to wait a bit and give something completely rounded and well thought out, instead of just deciding to drop tracks that are very uncomplimentary of each other. Nice try either way man, had to be honest.

So a mix for the sake of doing a mix

Yep that is probably right. Enjoy the critique and will certainly take note when preparing the next outing. As you know it is chill mixes that take months to compile the tracks for , this style still has some novelty value for me and I am genuinely excited when approaching another one.

I am expecting more honest feedback when I upload my next mix

cheers mate

ps. You can't blame me, a machine translated this mix.

I'm glad you took it well. If I am going to take the time to download and listen to something, I will be honest rather thna just saying,"Hey man, nice mix". Its what I hope for when posting a set.

I am exactly the same way so really appreciate it. Won't provide a link unless you ask but this is a review I posted yesterday on another forum of a mix done by the so called leading lights of the site there .

Listening to this in the car at the moment. Have covered the first 4 tracks so far. Was very bemused by the first track as I thought it was an absolute stinker to start with. Some weak singing female singing all out of key over what was a very average prog background..... The whole song made sense however when the first hint of the next started to roll in. These two songs were certainly made for each other. Great intro mix and certainly took things from zero to elation in a matter of minutes. Track 2 is a solid solid outing. Love the spoken vocal and love those long release haunting pads and bass combos whic is all the fashion these days since the likes of Nathan Fake and James Holden made them fashionable a few years ago. Was very concerned hearing the next mix come in that this one was going to be a flop. It really had no real guts to it and was basically a drum pattern just playing along to the audiofly track. It was on reflection a very clever mix indeed as the bass kicked off right where the audiofly track left off........

Need more time to reflect on the rest of the mix now.

Looking forward to it.

It is with the utmost regret that I wave a white flag on everything from the Bon Jovi track onwards. I enjoyed immensely everything up until that track but most everything afterwards gave me a headache. What a mix of 2 halves. First part was considered , deep and compelling and the rest was a pure cheese fest with 3 note leads and epic breakdowns.

I am too old for the second half folks.

I am sure up for some honest criticism !!
