I'm about a month in at the University of Miami. Anyone else feel my pain and just starting out?

if you have excellent study, writing, reasoning, reading, and test taking skills you should be fine.

you need to work on that then, because you'll get a shitload of cases to read and understand and all within a short time. accordingly, you'll need to manage your time and study efforts very wisely.

You have my sympathies 1Ls, that is a rough year. I am a 3L and slacking off like a mofo w/ a decent amount of free time. Though there is that annoying thing called the California BAR (3 days 6 hours each, sheeet) coming up which I should probably prepare for, not to mention professional responsibility exam in November...
