tats?
whose got tats? why did you get them? Where are they located? As for myself. I have the nickname chinese scroll. Since i have nine chinese characters on my back.
one for "dragon"
four that stand for "with sincere heart and mind"
four for "never satisfied."
dammit!!
i got all excited... i misread the title... i thought it said "tatas"
I want a tatoo of the Prodigy ant.

is it true that your tatoo will "run" if you are drinking heavily before and after you get it? i didn't think that the alcohol in your blood would get to your skin and do that?
That would suck bigtime if you had a tattoo-gone-wrong that looked like vomit, permenantly on your butt.. hehe

heh well i guess ill post mine again and incur the wrath of "ew those are disgusting" which always seems to happen when i do on this board.
left leg:

right leg:

both of those are about a foot high, from my knee to my hip on the outside of both legs (im short)
back:

let me emphasize that my back is NOT DONE and thats with a crappy webcam so the picture looks like shit. there is still a lot of shading to be done to give it depth.. what it WILL look like (and ill get a digital cam pic when its done) is on the bottom its mechanical vertabrae/plating which wraps onto my sides... then once it goes farther up my back it goes into my back and becomes bone. the whole top has to be shaded a lot darker so you can see that depth.
i got them over the last 3-4 years because i am really preoccupied with being a cyborg for many reasons. since i cant physically put a chip in my head yet or do anything physical i focus on the aesthetic aspect, same with my piercings.
no, i wont regret it. yes, ive thought about what ill look like when im 40. no, they arent disgusting. yes, they are real. no, im not crazy. (heh, thought id answer some of the questions i already know ill get >_< )

my mate charlotte has a tatto of a barcode on her arse, and when you scan it with a check-out barcode scanner it scans in as a galaxy ripple
im not sure how much i believe that.
barcodes are one of the hardest things to tattoo, so generally they arent even formed exactly the same way as a barcode on a product.
secondly, unless its a universal barcode it would only register at a store which implicitly carried that product. i do think there is a site where you can find universal barcodes such as that.. a barcode will be on the base of the plating of my backpiece.
I have quite a few...I think I should scan some pics and post em up... not for this...but for my own general use.
1. Dragon - Left arm from the top(near shoulder) to my elbow w/ a Yin Yang sign.
2. Crab - my sign..Cancer
3. Intials (chest)- My father's...he passed away.
4. Date - the date that one of my best friends died in a fight.
Oh yeah!! by the way...that one on your back SOTHIS is wicked... that must've taken a few trips to the shop.
worth it though... looks good.

LOL i thought it said TATAS too at first...i was like, "hmmm???"
anyway back to the topic...i have a japanese symbol for "good luck" on my lower tail bone in solid black that i got when i was 18...i got it done because i lived in japan for two years during high school so i guess i just wanted something japanese
i also have a half blue moon w/ a yellow star next to it on the outside of my right ankle...i got that one because i am pretty much a night owl so i figured it was appropriate. i wanted to originally get that one done on the top of my foot but a lot of places wont tatoo ur hands or feet so i decided to get it on the ankle.
Got two Celtic tribal tattoo's on both of my upper arms.
Got the first one when I was 17, the other whilst on holiday in Greece. I'm planning to add to the first one and cover up the whole of my upper left arm so its going to very big but I think I will have it done at the end of the summer now I have a job I can save again for it.

heh, sorry, i guess i used the wrong terminology, i don't know much about tats, i meant if you're going to get your legs filled in , too look more metallic and whatnot..

I think I have you all beat. I have 18 pieces of Various sizes. I have a Scorpian that is about the size of a sheet of paper on my back.
I have "I AM CANADIAN" on my left pectorial. I have a tribal barb wire wrapping arround my left and right arm. I have a cobra on my right arm, from wrist to shoulder that looks like it is gonna bite my neck. A huge design that I created on my stomach, kinda looks like the Godsmack symbol but not really. I got my initials in that little gap between my collar bone right below my adams apple. ( other ones all in diff. spots of friends whod died in a drag racing accident. A cool design on the back of my neck. and my newest one is a big wraparround one that I designed that goes from just above my shoulder blade, over my shoulder, down my right pectorial and wraps arround to the back to end at my waist line. I wish I had a scanner or a digi cam to post up some pics.
No I ain't crazy, Yes I thought about ma future, I ain't satanic, I just love to express myself different ways than most people.
Sounds cool, designing tats is rough I think, for months I've been planning how to add to my left arm its driving me mad, I think I got the first tat there situated stupidly, but I think gradully I'll get round it, and go have it added to, and the others recoloured.
Tats are good though I really enjoy having them, like on holiday I was chatting to these brit girls on holiday working as waitresses in bars about tats, and people look at them, and you look at theirs its all good.
