anyone in the cOr own a jeep?? or an offroad vehicle of any kind?

99 mazda protege, affordable.

i must say, jeeps with mud tires and a little raised, no doors and soft top down = sex!

its also very fun to go mudding in them (is that a redneck thing? iv always wondered)

ive got a jeep just like you described. ill work on getting a pic up.

mudding = southern
rock crawling = northern

mud > rocks

I sold mine in November... 2000 TJ, 3" lift, 33" muds, tube bumpers, rock rails, full under body armor, lowered gearing, etc.

BTW, a good trail should have both mud and rocks... and snow>mud>rocks

btw, i live in georgia, there is no rocks, there is clay everywhere so it gets muddy in the wooded areas. its not like we got mountains and rocky sourfaces, maybe that is why they do alot of mudding here.

I remeber someone being towed off the snow trail while someone in their Xterra just kept going.....oh man I miss off roading.

I actually ride a Jeep Comanche bike.

I might get a jeep later this year, does that count?

now now, let's be accurate here... I only needed to be pulled back onto the trail, I was fine once I got back on trail. That will teach me for trying to climb a hill covered in ice.

ive been pulled out of the mud once. ripped my bumper off cause i didnt have a tow hitch or recovery points in the rear. wish i would have gottn pics of that day.

as an avid offroader here's my take... Landcruiser < Land Rover Defender < Jeep (except the YJ, that shit don't count) < Mercedies Unimog

had a 2003 jeep TJ rocky mountain edition, sold it in february, it just wasn't practical for having a baby and the gas was getting too much..
