hey guys i have a problem recording.. since i bough this usb sound blaster card i install it on my laptop and i hooked it up to my mixer but i just dont get a signal what is the problem?

this is my mixer incase u need to check out what port i show put it in and stuff

Try hooking it up to some speakers instead of the computer, and make sure you get sound. If you do, it's not the mixer's fault, it's your computer's settings.

If so, check your sound card settings and make sure your line in isn't muted. Check your record settings (under properties on your volume control) and make sure it has volume turned up and does not have the muted box checked

make sure the software for your soundcard is fully installed on your computer, i had the same problem and had to re-install it twice before it worked properly.

it's usb, should install itself. enable the inputs, get your play and record levels up.
