[Progressive] DJ Vega - Mesmerizing Melodies

It's been a while since I last posted a mix here, but I finally found the time to put together a set that I'm quite satisfied with. It's aptly named "Mesmerizing Melodies", as each track in this mix has a distinct melodic feeling or undertone that makes it stand out from the pool of mediocrity. More than that is this a perfect reflection of the style of EDM I prefer to listen to and to spin these days, because of its warm and soulfull melodic feel together with that necessary "edge" and refreshing approach to the genre.

04. Tom Wax & Boris Alexander - Sundown [Big & Dirty]

If it's anywhere near as good as your last two efforts, this will be brilliant!
Grabbing the set now.

Brilliant is definitely the right word to describe this set. Massive amounts of energy going on and at the same time plenty of moving melodies and harmonies.. Been loving your style lately, great work

So, how did you like it Zoso?

Posted by Aki A. on Sep-26-2007 16:45:

Hehe, I used to spin under the name Vega as well back in 2001, but then one German dude claimed that its his nick and its pretty confusing..I believe he was from duo "tbo & vega" if I remember correct.

Anywho, the tracklist looks superb, will give a listen! 16 Bit Lolitas' mix of Love & Solace might just be my nr.1 atm

Posted by Jasperovitsj on Sep-26-2007 17:20:

So far I haven't had any angry German claiming this alias, so for now I'll keep in using it

Glad you like the tracklist. And that 16 Bit Lolita's remix is indeed a great tune, not as epic as some of their latest work, but somehow it manages to push all the right buttons.
