hello

the motu midi express 128 has no powerswitch...so when i turn on my pc it is on all the time.

The problem is that while windows seems to detect the 128, and the 128 gets power and lights up like normal, any DAWS I use will not receive midi from it until i unplug/hotplug the 128.

anybody know why this is? its annoying.

thats really weird, all my motu devices that are bus powered work on power up. have you emailed motu support, they are super nice and really quick to respond. i've been having problems with my ultralite lately(will randomly stop audio and just start clicking for an hour if i let it)

edit: or maybe in the device manager that USB port is disabled on start up?

to confirm, you are using pc too right?

ill email motu now, i was gonna do that but i read that their support was shit.
