Interesting bulletin from Meat Katie

I received an interesting bulletin from Meat Katie...

The subject is "Time is running out in the war against terror.....", and the body is "(I mean trance!)" with banner to vote for him in DJmag poll.

Just though I should share.

So basically... spam?

Posted by RJT on Sep-20-2007 20:22:

Oh man, that's awesome - I'm going to go and vote for him right now, brb.

Posted by Scoops on Sep-20-2007 20:25:

delete Meat Katie from your friend's list

Posted by RJT on Sep-20-2007 20:50:

Do you guys think this means that Meat Katie supports actual terrorism?

Posted by Gauss on Sep-20-2007 20:56:

I think I can handle DJ voting spam once a year. And no, I won't be voting for him. I won't be voting for anyone, for that matter. The reason is obvious.

cnt blame him for trying

Seems like word play is the new fad.

I saw Meat Katie 12 days and he sucked hard. I left after an hour.

I always thought Meat Katie was a woman

... and yet at the same time he claims to react indifferently towards the voting results.

there's always a difference to what the djs say and what their pr guys do. i remember paul saying 3 years ago that he doesn't give a rat's ass about the dj mag top 100 poll and yet there was a flash banner on his page after he got named #1

failure of grammerz.

Many of the DJs I know who campaign really don't care.. they do it because their label either pushed them to, or does it for them.

my favourite is the dual use of "it's" instead of "its"

I'm partial to the "call of arms," myself.

I don't think it's entirely true that DJs don't care about the results. I mean, going higher up the chart, translates into more gigs, and more money.

Over here DJs are advertised as "The # 6 DJ in the world". I fucking hate that nonsense.
