Gaiser - Withdrawal
I forget who it was and what thread it was in but someone here was asking what the track that played on the Minus website was a little bit ago and we all knew it was Gaiser but not the track name. Well guess what, it's out on Beatport today and it fucking ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!
rocks?
haha, idk. It would be a cool track to open up a night with maybe...

haha, you would classify that track as a banger?
No, I would classify it as a very great track. Why does it have to be a "banger" to be very good music?

Originally posted by zizack it doesn't have to be a banging track to be good music, but when someone says a track "fucking rocks" followed by 10 "!'s" I usually expect something other than a standard minimal track with a repetitive low key melody. Thats just me though...

When I listen to tracks I don't only listen to them but imagine myself someplace else listening to them sometimes. And this track definitely puts me "someplace else." You guys should try it sometime.

Originally posted by zizack fair enough. I guess if I imagined myself on ecstasy / ketamine @ a Cocoon party in Ibiza, that track might do it for me in a peak time setting. but just stumbling across it, sober, on beatport, I would add that to my cart as an opening track. its a good track, just not one I would say 'fucking rocks!!!!!!!!!'

you guys are brutal

Originally posted by DOOMBOT I can see it being a "dancefloor destroyer" if it were used right in the set. Tracks like this shouldn't just be thrown around anywhere. Place this in the right place at the right time and I wouldn't doubt the floor going ape shit at all.

Originally posted by DOOMBOT Yeah you are definitely right about that. I mean, I've passed up on so many tracks when browsing sites for music to play because of whatever reason. And then go out and hear it in a set and be completely blown away by it. That's what is so great about music, how much it ties into our emotions and moods at a specific moment. And I mean as far as this specific track, Withdrawal, being an opening track for a set. Maybe for your sets Zack because from what I heard you play a lot of progressive stuff, but for a dj who plays minimal almost throughout the entire set, why would he limit himself to playing this only in the beginning? If I went to a party where minimal and techno were being played I would definitely be expecting this track at around 5am!
agree with zack..def an opener
love the catchy albino lead
would work well at pawn shop wmc...then that would be classified as a banger considering everything else they play is monotone mnml lol..any hint of melody is like "o my gawd..no way"
Bangin' = Plan Tec - Espias Psiquicios (Jonas Kopp Psiquic Remix)
^^^ oh yeah... opened up that liveset with it that i shared couple weeks ago, W0W!!!!
also...
Jorge Savoretti & Dario Zenker - the joint kings
^^^ BANGER!
