hows the weather in australia during the month of may?
i was thinking on going to sidney, melbourne, the gold coast etc. for vacation that month next year...
is it cold? sunny? rains? can you go to the beach etc?

Um, you're joking right? It's usually pissing down in Sydney in May and the beaches are shithouse (at that time of year)

Goldcoast would be ok....
