The world is flat controversy lives on - The View

Poor stay at home women. One more reason to know why they all slowly go insane:

It's bad enough to have these fucking shows on for people to watch. But you top that with blissful stupidity and you literally lose IQ points by merely watching.

Watching that made me angry. I'm not joking.

There's a reason why I dont watch ANY sort of reality shows on television, no cartoons, no survivor, no idol, etc. Its all brainwashing, misinformation, deceitful and quite frankly a waste of time.

We as humankind are going backwards, folks! Stupefying ourselves. This clip illustrates the general viewpoint (not necessarily the exact same one) of the population. People dont care about the world itself, they choose to accept things that make them more content with themselves, i.e. reality shows, religion, fiction-oriented programs and anything in between. In a sense television becomes a drug of the masses. You get drunk and dont give a shit whats going on in the real world!

I dont spend as much time on music as you'd expect with my collection. In case you didnt notice, I do a lot of reading. Sorry, I am not perfect and occassionally I do follow some sports like baseball and hockey. But not religiously. Thats because many of my friends who are just too much into the fiction world, and they follow sports religiously, and so I got the bug too, but I am getting over it. At least I grasp the concept of the uselessness of sports. Music is the melody that accompanies me through this tough world. It helps keep my sanity without brainwashing me or without lowering my IQ or knowledge.

That lady in the middle was funny. "I'd say, we have to go to the library."

I mean this is AMERICAN TV -- the biggest waste of time on the planet.

If this were any other country on the planet... maybe there'd be some interesting stuff to watch... but not in the US. I learned this over 10 yrs ago.

WTF ... just as it was getting interested, it suddenly ended The clip kinda contradicted itself in the second half, I dont like soap operas or reality shows.

But I do agree that the evolution is reversing, smart people are dying off ...

EDIT: Never mind, getting better in the Part 3,4,etc.

The movie is so bad, yet the points raised are very good. I saw all the parts on Youtube. Thanks for the clip.

EDIT: The movie has many flaws. For example, when the guy was in the prison doing the IQ test - who was the person writing the tests, and shouldn't that person or those people in charge of it have made incorrect answers based on their stupidity? Also, in order to run many of the functions of their society, like the use of computers and construction, requires people of higher intelligence. Otherwise even the basic system would collapse.

Anyhow, the movie did stress out some great points, but it was too far on one side of the spectrum, and quite exagerrated.
