PvD anti-Tiesto?
Is it true that Paul van Dyk never ever plays a Tiesto song or remix in his livesets (I've checked a couple of his tracklists and I couldn't find any Tiesto number)? Moreover, it seems that he's disrespecting Dutch trance in general as well? DUTCH TRANCE!!! I think that's pretty pathetic.
Your on crack.........
Paul Van Dyk does play tiesto songs but not often because most don't fit his style. How often does tiesto play paul van dyk songs. I think your on crack and you should not care which songs a deejay plays. It ain't about disrespect.....it's about style........and please lay off the crack.
pvd must hate dumonde, flutlicht shokk and cosmic gate as well then
..
and oakenfold...
Frankly who cares what record deejays play.....as long as it fits in the set and where they are playing then who cares. Ever see Corsten drop a pvd record....then he must hate pvd....gosh get a life...stop caring why a deejay does'nt play a certain record.
pvd played dj tiesto - flight 643 at mayday...and alibi - eternity (tiesto & armin) was released on vandit...he also used to play gaia - 4 elements and other dutch productions...at his first ministry of sound seesion he played the dumonde remix of tony h - zoo future
pvd's style is his own, he digs up songs like no one else, and most of the time they're not going to be from big-name dj's, because he plays a certain style, just like tiesto, oakie, gielen, etc...
oakenfold's style is just more suited to stick Obsession in, than is pvds.
WOuldn't really pay much mind to it.
cheers
Ilina
style?
What style does PvD play then? Country? Just curious how he manages NOT to play a Tiesto number during live sets okay? (And it seems that you don't know either!) All you PvD fans relax!
Every style is different and i'm not sure how deejays pick their records nor do i care.

please stop blaming PVD for being a damn great DJ!
he's shy and modest, he would never bring people down.
he listens to all styles of music, and he respects other DJ's!
btw: his best DJ-friend is Sven Vath: he plays techno, not trance!

sven vath?? really? he looks like the totall opposite of PvD, sven looks and is a gangster! but his music always rocks!
yes strange but true.
Sven Vath was into drugs, Paul never used any
Sven Vath looks like a criminal, Paul always dresses casual
Sven Vath is single (as far as I know), Paul is married
Sven Vath is techno, Paul is trance
BUT: The German Dance scene started booming in 1991 and especially the Loveparade made DJ's like Marusha, Marc Spoon, Westbam, Sven Vath, Paul van Dyk world famous.
DJ's started seeing eachother more and more and they respected eachother.
At Innercity 2000 it was clearly visible how Sven Vath congratulated PVD on his amazing set. At Mayday 2000, Sven Vath and PVD were having fun behind the turntables together.
I, as Dutchman, like German parties more than Dutch. The vibes between dj's and crowd are much better.
btw: In Switzerland all Dj's seem to be really close friends (mind-x, snowman, energy)
whatever
