CDJ1000MK3 [2.20] Loop Adjust

Hey Guys,

I had a question for anyone with a CDJ1000MK3 (FW 2.20)...

When editing the start and end loop positions, does the player act the same? Mine allows me to edit the end point as much as I want, though the start point it only allows me to edit about half a second each way, I was wondering if this was normal behaviour?

A few replies would assist as i'd be asking to swap the unit if this was incorrect behaviour - if not I think this is very weird (does anyone else agree?)

Thanks

Not sure if that's typical behavior, but you should be able to cue the start point within half a second on your own anyway, so I'm not sure why you'd need more.

they both act the same on mine..... end point and begging points are precise.

I think my outs and ins behave in the same way too, but I don't have access to them right now.

Perhaps reinstal the firmware? Not sure if that can be done. If it can do it!

oh, mine are precise aswell, to the frame, though it only lets me go as far back as half a second, and as far forward as half a second, unlike the end point, which is also by the frame, though it can be modified as far forward as i like, and as far backward as the start point+1frame

I can cue within half a second, that has nothing to do with anything I mentioned in my post. I don't think I said 'I need this function as I often miss the start cue point'.

I'm here to work out if I have a defective product, or if this normal behavior.
