Brooklyn Rules OK ?????
So anyway,,we got offered the chance to do sumfin at Exit in BK and I'd be interested to hear your thoughts..I keep getting told that people wouldn't travel to BK from other parts of the city,,however I know that's bullshit 'cos I know shit loads of you live there...
I really value your opinions and we'd love the feed back....SSU MF...
BTW,,on Friday it took me 15 mins from Exit to Love on the train....
I admittedly don't get out to Brooklyn very much. Not that I wouldn't make a trip out there, I definitely would to see the right djs.

I gotta be honest, it takes me over an hour to get there from Harlem. So i'd probably end up going to fewer shows than if you were in Manhattan. But I love you guys and your parties, so I'd make the effort for sure.

aside from oversleeping from a disconap on Friday night, Drew n I are definitely very intrigued about going to Club Exit. Also, Ive been meaning to explore that part of Bklyn (Greenpoint) for awhile now, its supposed to be developing VERY quickly in all the right ways. (hell, i haven't even gotten to explore Williamsburg yet! lol)
cant wait to see what SunnysideUp (and the locals) have in store for us
having been to the spot before Jay and I both said we would go back again. The only problem i can forsee is the lack of trains to get there but for anyone that drives in from NJ its literally on the other side of the brooklyn bridge there is no reason that the location should be a problem since it is only another 10 minutes onto your trip. For people in the city, the G and the L train are in the area. Most people can get to the L train somehow in the city with little trouble and its the first stop into brooklyn off of that. The G is from Queens to BK so for anyone that lives in Queens you don't even have to go to Manhattan to get to the club. I think people just assume its BK so it can't be as worth it as the city but once you walk into the place you know you're gonna have a good time.
I think you should go for it steven...the space alone makes the trip worth it, but having you guys in there running the show and bringing in the talent a lot of people will show up even the ones that are not sure now.
I would just suggest looking into new bartenders...the last time I went they were rude and the drinks were not good. They also didn't seem interested in helping us out even though there weren't that many people at the club.
Tae,,Sheila and Michael are gonna try bash out a deal with the club on Sunday and we'll let you know...Travelling to the club is easy and all going well we will be able to put Dj's in there to make you wanna make the effort...

man them city .... are so lazy!!!
Actually, its not even the middle of brooklyn, but greenpoint BK which like borderline queens really. Its one left off of Van Dam Street coming off the LIE westbound. Matter of fact, its closer for me coming from my place in Queens and I can avoid crossing over the 59th street bridge or Williamsburg bridge. Personally, I would def. prefer this place as opposed to some shitty lounge in the city. :cough: :cough: CRUDO :cough: :cough: At least this place has a huge dancefloor, multirooms and a DOPE sound/light system. Its not ure ordinary basement gig thats for sure.
actually if you compare goin out in the city to a club and crooklyn: you feel mre at ease with a boro club then one in the city. I'd take that over the city even if i have to travel. (which is usally the case anyway)
I checked out exit for the first time last weekend, I was pretty impressed. But then again, it's pretty close for me. Even if it wasn't, I'd go again. I was just surprised there was hardly a crowd for a friday night. That and the crowd seemed VERY young.
