Hi

Have any of you guys ever ordered from digital village before?

How long did you have to wait for your order to come through?

I placed an order for a pc but 3 weeks later they are still waiting for parts?

I do not know what could possibly take so long to order in or is this a normal wait for a pc that is built to your spec?

I initially bought my Dynaudio BM5as from them. They delivered quick (5 days from the UK to Ireland) but I've had repeated nightmares with them. My first pair arrived so badly fucked up, one of the drivers was perforated and both plugs were so bent out of shape that you couldn't even plug them in to test it. They were both scratched to hell and the polystyrene shells that were supposed to protect them were basically disintegrated.

Owing to UPS's returns service and damage report (UPS = shipping used by DV247) it took 3 months before I could get a refund. Dv247 shipped me 2 replacements but one of them had a defective tweeter which burst (LOUDLY) after 12 hours use, monitoring extremely quietly. The other speaker they sent me worked but it shipped with a 2 pin plug and I had to buy a travel adaptor to use it on UK mains.

The busted one I didn't bother to send back and got Steve B from Dynaudio to handle the replacement which he did really fast. Dynaudio customer support was awesome by the way.

Maybe I was just unlucky but I will never buy anything from them ever again. That just soured the whole experience.
