Help Uberschall TranceID (Anyone uses)

Hey guys just go this as a present its a collection of loops and it looks like a sampler (vst) that plays all loop collection. My problem is that since I got it any sound a play and then loop it in ableton or just copy and paste for 1-2 or maybe 4 bars (4 example a kick sound) the sound is not 100% looped.I dont know what I did wrong I used battery before and I didt face this adn all my midi work is sound normal but this I dont know
here is a sample for you to understand what i mean its a drum sample
http://download.yousendit.com/A6EEDDF538328571
I know its something very stuiped but I really cant fix it

hi!

did you sync it to your host tempo? As far as i remember those ubeschall samplers dont do that automatically, you have to push a button everytime you change it. if you're using live you should render all those things to clips as this is way more convenient than using this uberschallplayer crap.

anyway, what can you do with this set? it's just like construction kits, right? not very versatile in my oppinion

it has some good drums but cant use the other things such as melodies and so on or it wouldnt be urs
I bounced the samples like u said it easier right !!
I just wanted to know how far such samples can be used in production I mean to which extend are this ok and when can this turn on to Ejay
do u get me?

I dunno. What I think stuff like that could be good for is dropping it to a clip and let it play along with another midi clip, where you try to recreate the original with your own instruments. that gives a nice learning-effect. it is quite useless for anything else as the material is processed to a very high extends which makes it extremely hard to integrate into any track.

You draw the line yourself. Many well known producers use loops. Some very obviously, some less obvious. You should decide for yourself. There are no rules .

Exactly. Every producer makes that decision.

Should I use loops?

Should I use synth presets?

Should I use a synth I didn't build myself?

If I build my own synth, do I use circuitry and chips and nuts and bolts that other people made or should I make them myself?

Every producer makes the decision for themself. If a billion people tell you no, you still need to look within for your decision.

Couldn't agree more mate! Those questions have run through my head many a time. Just go with the flow and enjoy it i say.

Just gotta say, Have a listen to the signum remix of Dan Stone - Road test. They've used some samples from Trance ID. Either that or they have have contributed to the production of it. Didn't see their names credited on it tho?

Marcel Woods, in Cherry Blossom, used said preset from the JP-8080 for the main lead. Sounds fantastic to me. If it fits, use it

Those things are very common.

Marco V - Godd ... Preset arp from the Virus synth
Lot's more guys who do it. It's happens all the time.

Storyteller! Too right! I used the Virus c arp on "angel" which is on my myspace page. Also in conjunction with trance id and logic 7's vst's. I'm sure that arp is the one used in "echoes". Pattern Number 14 or 15 I think?

You might not like the track but have a listen if you fancy...

I'm not quite sure what you're saying.

I enjoyed the clip though. Even though I don't make uplifting trance I like it . I hope you don't mind: it sounds like it needs a bit cleaner mix and a solid lead melody. Other than that it's a nice listen

Cheers

i was asking this same question on here a couple months ago. the conclusion i came to is that i would use percussion loops but only as a background sound. then layer the main percs over top ei. kicks, claps, snares, hithats , cymbals, and shakers. i actaully swear by this technique now. i find it gets my tracks started way quicker. as for any other kinda of loop, i dont see the piont. maybe an FX or fill loop though but other then that i couldn't feel good about it. but like others have said do what you want, and if it sounds good its good.
