Need Help Getting Started

Hello everyone, I am completely new to these forums and have absolutely no experience in making any type of music. What I want to do is learn how to make trance music. I really want to learn, but i don't have the slightest clue to what equipment is needed to start out.

Do any of you have any suggestions to how I should get started?

I am totally clueless on this, but I want to learn.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

before everyone starts flaming you... what you're interested in is called production. dj's mix the already made tracks together for the most part. so try asking your question in the production forum.

well if want to make tracks then try start off with

Reason 3.0
Cubase

If you want to dj then try

Tracktor
Ableton

all software better to try on your pc then to fork out a few G on stuff you might not use.
