hanging a sheet on a wall
i have a this awesome printed sheet that i want to hang up on my wall but im not sure about the best way to do it...
i've tried thumbtacks and they are too weak and too difficult to get in the wall... im scared to nail it for fear of damaging the sheet and it just ripping out anyways...
anyone have any experience hanging big pieces of fabric on walls?
Go to a framing store and get it mounted on foam core

yeah, either go with the foam or build a frame out of 2x2s and strech it over that.
suppose any other way you do it, will just look like a sheet on a wall...
painted sheet? get a painting man.

Those poster strips should work and that shit sticks to anything
get two rods -- one each for top & bottom -- and hang it like a tapestry.

I used a hammer to push thumb tacks in my wall. I put a sheet over the window to keep things dark cuz I'm nocturnal/
thumbtack it to the floor instead, it will fall less often.

get small pieces of wood and stretch it like canvas for painting, staple gun and you're good to go

use nails and a hammer. don't worry, you won't rip it, as long as it's a normal regular sheet.
Hanging sheets on a wall creates a haven for insects, spiders, and dust. Whenever a client approaches me with this idea I usually tell them that I don't recommend it.
