Purchasing live sets?

I apologize if this is in the wrong section. I'm looking to purchase live sets of various DJ's including Paul Oakenfold. I've searched iTunes, Amazon and Google and it seems as though I can only download them via torrents and what not. Does anybody know of a place that I can purchase these live sets or is this not possible?

Thanks.

Usually live sets are free.

If this is the case, then how does on go about getting these? Is downloading them legal?

just download them. if you are paying for them, someone is making money who shouldnt.

go to www.livesets.com or www.djmixes.com

register, its free and there are many sets.

This is a good site - djsets.co.uk/ click

They have a pretty large selection and some of the big names have multiple live set compilations spanning from 99' - 07'. They mail you a few cds each with about 7 live sets on them so you need your computer to play them. I've never burned 1 80min cd with 1 live set but I'm sure it's not too hard. I've bought about $90 worth of live sets off there myself and have been pleased with all of them.

Buying them is technically illegal I think. Downloading them free is a legal grey area.

Bear in mind that if you buy them someone is earning money for old rope, but if you have a slow modem I could see why you'd want to buy them as it saves months of downloading.

www.hybridized.org lets you download a lot of breaks and progressive house sets. If you are interested in a particular DJ, try their website, often there are one or two promo sets up for download.

Thanks for the replies. With the megaupload site, do you 1.) have to register to use it and 2.) download something for it? I'm on a Mac, and it says for the download manager it's a Windows client.
