Fascist America, in 10 easy steps

this is only an excerpt of the whole artile. it is a long one but a VERY good one. in debates with friends i have kinda said shit would go this way but not to this extent in those debates.

thats why the forefathers left the control to the senate right? so 50 people have the rule, not 1... unfortuntaly most of these laws were passed in the house and the senate, so we've got a whole level of idiots in washington making decisions for us: /

well the reason a bunch of the laws pass is because there is like 5 people in the session cause they hold some "emergency" or "late night" session but make sure its when all the opposition is out on leave or whatever. so then the remaining, their supporters, are left and they vote it into law. i personally think this should be banned.

yeah, same thing was said about the federal reserve act... that it got passed when all the senators were on holiday. however, laws can easily be ratified if the senate sees fit, meaning, you and & i (senator ross and senator gehzumtefel) go on vacation but come back to this new law we hate. well it will take 2/3 of the senate to ratify a law so all we have to do is gain some support for it and go get it changed. the fact that few senators ever try this shows a lack of caring imo.

Sad but true.

There's no motive for those in charge to change the form of government, since they can already do whatever they want (and take less blame for it than a dictator would, to boot!)

very true...sadly few of them care for anything more than money.

They wouldn't get away with it, either. Not if they declared exactly what they were. They can get away with a lot more masquerading as something they're not; perpetuation of the lie and subsequent assimilation of other foreign prospects under the guise of 'democracy' also avails policy makers with more exploitable economic and political resources to bring it as far as they could ever want. If things stay the way they are, I doubt people, in general, would ever truly know what is going on at the root of things - and that is exactly how they would want it. Can get a lot more control if you stunt the spread of information as well as have hegemony over what the people thing is 'logical'.
