Bring Deadmau5 to Atlanta.

Sorry to go off on another "bring so&so here" rant, but this guy must be cheap, and he is rising through the ranks faster than anyone else I've ever seen. Watch this live broadcast hes doing!

i am writing a paper, but i was watching for a bit and he was sampling westworld - chiapet

i really don't like any of his productions though, cant say about his djing, didn't listen for more than 3 minutes.

iammesol, do you have any links to live mixes he's done? I'm a big fan of his production work (more so his remixes than original works), but I haven't heard much about him as a DJ. As quick as that dude cranks out tunes, I can't imagine he gets out to do live performances too often.

Hes doing a few North American dates in the coming months. I don't think hes really a part of an agency yet, and being based out of Canada he just kinds of does what people ask him to do.

For livesets, just go listen to his stickam broadcast right now!

Oh yeah he's good!! Just don't know if his name is big enough yet to draw a huge crowd...We know who he is of course but alot of people don't

he is a talented producer for sure but i don't think he'll be cheap to perform. his studio work has a waiting list of six months and the initial retainer for a remix is upwards of five grand! i guess you can charge that much when you consistently hold 4 or 5 of the top 10 slots on beatport! i'l search for some mixes from him but i am currently not aware of any. check his myspace maybe?

Last night he said he only had $20 to his name, and since hes sort of a new name I wouldn't be surprised if he was cheap as a DJ. It's worth a try, no?

Amazing news on his production costs Chris!

Have you ever seen any of his random youtube videos?

He has a Xone 3D, a Minimoog Voyager (among other hardsynths), a giant flatscreen monitor for playing CS:S.... I highly doubt he's *THAT* strapped for cash.

That's what he said. And yeah, of course I saw the stuff. He was using Stickam

He's a pretty familiar face with us over at Faderwave.net and the DJ Forums crew. Used to come by our Stickam room all the time, but I guess he started up his own thing.

Good guy, although he's been overdoing the productions a bit I think. But hell, he's in demand by people and if I was getting paid $5000 to do remixes, I'd probably be tossing out a dozen a week if I could, too

That might be the reason why he's strapped for cash

Either that or they're freebies (which I highly doubt since he's not a big enough name).

But he can't be too poor, even if I don't know why this thread turned into a discussion concerning the financial stability and status of an arbitrary electronic music producer in Canada.

I'd like to see him do a show here still.
