After bugging (Cyberjoe gets credit as well!) Taj to bring Gareth Emergy out he did for LoveFest, and after having to make an emergency run home and getting back into the city, I head to Ten15 to hear the last hour of his set.

And I must say, he was GREAT!!!! So much energy, a bit of his own style. He played a lot harder than I have heard in his mixes anytime recently, but I loved it!!

Considering it was LoveFest weekend and that you could expect pretty much anyone out to be a frickin zombie after most likely having been on their feet all day, it was a rare occasion to see him making everyone on the dance floor dance their ass off even near 4:30am!

Glad I made it to ten15 when I did. I wasn't sure of his set time. Wish I could have seen more!! Bring him back Taj!! Sooner the better!!!

Anyhow, just had to let it be known. He is for realzzz yo. If he just gets the exposure between his producing & DJ, could be part of the next wave of DJs to become well-known.

Just need to point his performance out. While I didn't get to live the whole weekend like some of you, certainly one my highlights.

Oh yeah, Taj played a spectacular closing set too. Was especially impressed considering when I got there at like 3:20am he was basically falling over outside from exhaustion.

And then inside when Gareth was closing up.

But nice to see the passion in him and during his performance where even though he was probably more exausted than I ever seen him, he was his usual rocker self behind the decks.

wasnt packed when i got there for emery. im sure it was for IM though as they have a bigger following.

I met him over at the local love float for a bit. GTR is a really cool guy. Also met Blurr for a quick moment.

GTR only had a 60 min set, but it was a really great hour. Taj was playin a great set on the float was well.

i met him and took a picture and shook his hand. i was so excited... then we were abotu to talk but his (girlfriend?) started to pull him away.
