CHOON!!! One of best trance tunes of this year

Tracklist was good, programming not so good. Felt that there was no real variance to the flow to the set as everything seemed more or less high tempo. I felt rather burned out mentally after listening to this set
No real build up in the set. Some tunes felt rather samey in the sequence they were put in.

Good to hear a proper euphoric trance set again though

Hi and thanks for the feedback.

I didn't program the mix or do it on a computer. It was mixed using a pair of CDJ1000mk3's and a DJM600. I picked the tracks from my wallet and went with a structure that seemed to suit the next track as played. As it was a day dedicated to the uplifting sound, I pretty much had to stick with that style so some of the songs do sound samey. I could have upped the pitch more though from the first track to give it more build, so i'll remmember that in future.

I do have a monthly show on Afterhours though and these sets are way more vaired in their track selections and structure. I will work on the building more though

Just finished listening this and enjoyed it!! Some decent tunes coming out on your label as well, especially liked Paul Davies - Intergration (Med Remix). Keep up the good work!!

I think you're a bit confused on the definition of tracklist and programming

tracklist: the tunes you picked for the set

programming: the order in which the tunes were played in the set
