Thats his custom made, only one in the world, Abelton Live Controller! I got to hang out with the guy for a little bit back stage in his dressing room and he was really such an real person. Modest and really chill.

I agree, best set of the night!!!

Someone ripped the audio stream from Justin.tv its pretty bad audio quality.. but the best i've found yet..

first 35 minutes or so is decent, there are audio drops too.
I take what I can get, I was literally mindfucked.

i have to agree, best set of the weekend. three's set that night was also phenomenal... the best i've heard from both of them. too bad three wasn't able to open for sasha. that would have been outrageous.

Posted by |Thrax| on Oct-01-2007 19:44:

yea, wtf happened to Three. I txted clovis when I heard supermayer - two of us.. earlier in the night.. timeslot was 11:45pm no? but by 12am I saw g&d..

I couldnt see the staqe from the bleachers, then I saw two guys, and then I saw Dresden doing "spirit fingers".

Posted by rizo on Oct-01-2007 19:50:

three was just playing in the main room to bring things down after JF due to G&D request

Posted by |Thrax| on Oct-01-2007 19:52:

ahhhh, well Three was great for 15 or 20 minutes! I didnt notice that timeslot ending.
damnit!

JF and I had a laugh about that and I told him to bang it out since Three is going to bring down anyway

Posted by DJLukasz on Oct-01-2007 22:34:

I didnt really dig their set... Gabriel and Dresden didnt throw down like I thought they were going to. Sasha had to come to a quiet crowed and blow it up! The first time I heard the crowd over the music was when Sasha was playing... And the Ferry killed it as well!

Posted by SVGmethod on Oct-01-2007 22:45:

Gabriel and Dresden fuckin sucked. Horrible set. How the hell are they gonna throw down some dark minimal shit and mix into TRACKING TREASURE DOWN!!!!?!??!? WTF. Horrible. My set of the night was prolly JOOF and I am not too into that style of music. His energy is phenomenal. I was not too impressed with what Sasha was doing to be honest. He wrecked on the first transition after G&D and I caught a few times during the set when he would bring in a new track and it did not sound perfectly beatmatched. Honestly, I think Sasha could have done the same set on CD's. I didnt notice too many abletron trickeries. Three was awesome. I heard a few tracks throughout the night being played by different jocks.

sasha's set was mindboggling, not much to dance to or throw ur hands up but rather just contemplate how the fuck those sounds are coming together to create a song. It seemed like it was a bit over the head of most of those kids, many of them seemed confused and the crowd was a bit quite during his set.

I guess my mind would have been fucked had I not heard Three play that Supermayer track earlier in the night 2x.

I got to watch him play his set for a little while and even though you didnt know it, he was trickin it out behind those decks. Its really amazing what he can do with the controller, all of the tracks were in separate audio parts and he was composing tracks live.

Posted by Clovis on Oct-01-2007 23:13:

Looks like Sasha's controller got new FX send faders.

I didnt notice as i left to take a piss after JOOF and Three 15 min set was over.

But this is very common at massive events, look at a MM tracklist. Their lineups will play several tracks 2-3 times per night.

Oh yeah... He can also cue and play 6 channels and how ever many audio bits within those channels with the controller.

Guess it's hard for some people to pay attention to detail.

DJLukasz: who are you?

I am DJ Lukasz (That is how my name is spelled.) I live in the Bay Area, and I have a new production company called Clubberz Cure.

I have been a DJ for over 7 years now, predominantly in the rave scene here in the bay. I did productions with Telic, Audio Metamorphosis, Preserve, Kids at Play, Plays Kool, and I currently work with Skills and 1015 Folsom.

I've only done the club scene for about a year now and I look forward to the years to come.

i have been in music since the 5th grade starting with the Violin moving on to the trumpet, french horn and guitar. Any now all I do is DJ and Produce within Cubase.

What about you Thrax?
