alright Gabriel lets see what we got here:

if you're going to have a stacatto pad, put something legato behind it so when it moves, it's not a change in atmosphere but a change in key. make sense?

bassline fits well, kick seems a bit over driven but maybe that was intentional? it works, just expected a lil different

lead is quite pretty -- i would put an analyzer on the bassline and see where in the mid range its frequencies lie and then put an analyzer on the lead, i have a feeling they are both hitting the 1khz-2.5khz area kinda hard, maybe try and eq one higher or lower to see if the lead/bassline breathes more.

other than that, this is quite good, keep up the good work

A

thanks Anthony, i have to admit that i only make the track on orion, render and thats all i do, no mastering process or anything like that.
thanks for the really good advice

Posted by Zombie0729 on Oct-02-2007 19:09:

what's orion? i'm guessing like cheap monitors or something -- regarldess, slap on some headphones and take a listen, you should be able to hear the eq the track needs(although i don't recommend using headphones for eq purposes) and EQ'ing is not a form of mastering... you want that stuff taken care of before you master!

good luck

and no, i will never use headphones,
and for shure, let me work on my EQ and post it later.
thanks again really

the track really seems to lack direction. i like the sounds you used in it though.

i prefer tracks that have a lot of drive and fullness i think you could add more low end to this. a sub bass would work well.

i like the sounds but it does get repetitive after a while try adding new things and taking other things out.

Nice track, really digging the synth at around 3:00 and how the track blows up after that. Take these guys' advice, go polish it, give promos to a few DJs (this totally sounds like a track Santiago Nino will play), and submit it to labels. I'm sure you'll get it signed

Nice to hear quality EDM productions from my beloved Guatemala

nice punchy kick.. nice warm pads.. yeah maybe a second (More bassy) bassline to have it run along to keep it more in balance.. just a suggestion. nice melodies.. maybe try to put some arpeggios in the song.. the second melody is pretty cool to but try to use some more vst's in the same time only makes it better. really like it cool tune. just a few touches

added you to myspace!

I like the pads and the bassline progression is cool. The guitar sounding melody is great. The arp that comes in after the break, not so great.
I think you should add a higher rolling bassline, it would add alot of drive to the track.
The track has great potential, it just needs more variation.

I enjoyed this, bass line perhaps a little weak but I am listening on headphones. Like the pad. Overall sounds are well balanced. I also like the sounds you've used. Not a peak time banging track but a good one for the 11pm slot.

Good stuff
