NE1 in the Huddersfield area?

Right then, any of you tranceaddict nutcases who live in the huddersfield area should tune into Melt FM on 87.9fm. It is the University of Huddersfield Student radio station and I have a set for 2 hours on a friday night.

I have never done anything like this b4 in my life so it should be a good larf. As i don't have any decks at present I will be spinning cd's/mp3's. So the blending will be pretty amateur-like. But hopefully I will have a good track selection.

This is still in its preliminary stages, i think the student union can only afford a one month license so i will probably be doing about 4/5 sets in total.

I will give u more details when I get em, but if ur in the area tune in and have a listen at my poor attempt at being a dj spinning the best in UK Garage and vocal funky house (NOT!).

It hasn't started broadcasting yet, not until next week sometime. Not sure on the exact date, but the Union could only afford one months license.

Melt FM is now up and running on 87.9fm for those that are in the huddersfield area, i think joel said he was. Tune in about nine ish to have a larf as I have not practiced. Was supposed to have a go on saturday but they didn't have the transmitter up, ahh well. Not sure how long I am doing it said on the schedule 9:00-11:00 but everyone else seems to think I am on until 12, not that I care.
