Coffee appreciation thread

There is nothing as good as a rich long black coffee to greet the day with. And then another around 10ish when the first one wears off. Maybe one at lunch. Another around 3. And then all night when you have a shitload of work to do for uni

I hate milk in coffee. It ruins it, imo. I did however, used to be addicted to FU Iced Coffee. But that doesnt count as coffee.

Coffee is responsible for this thread.

How do you take yours?

(sexual innuendos a-go-go)

I reckon adding water to a coffee to make it a long black ruins it more than milk does personally.

Breakfast Espresso
Daytime Latte
After Dinner Short Mac

I'm generally a latte person, although a short mac after dinner is the perfect ending (well there are better endings, just depends on who you're at dinner with).

yer short blacks are another fav.

i think my coffees NEED that amount of water to dissolve the student strength coffees i have sometimes

Agreed. I don't put it in tea or coffee. No baby cow food thanks.

Short black is my favourite.

I try not to drink it too often these days, once I start drinking it I find it hard to stop Getting enough caffeine from the daily coke/pepsi.

I've been trying to minimise coffee intake as I'm going to the gym now and caffeine isn't exactly good for you, but I still love it. Nothing better than a nice Cappuccino with one sugar.

Had one today at Circular Quay. Nice!

I drink tea mostly, coffee to me is all the same, although recently i realised how shit nescafe is... also one morning realised the blend forty-three thing lol

Early Grey tea anytime.

I like tea a lot more than coffee, but I will always have a love for double extra strong espressos.

yeah im a tea and hot chocolate man (tathi ). i don't mind ye olde coffee if im mashing up teddy bear biscuits inside it. i used to drink coffee in my teens with a smoke, probably just trying to 'fit in' and look 'mature'.. but i came to the realistation i think it tastes like shit.

Posted by chubbs on Apr-18-2008 06:28:

There's a full blown espresso machine at the new place I'm working at, and pretty much one of the induction tasks was to learn how to make coffee.

I am a full pro barista now, my lattes are the shit.
