Another DS Thread

Tonight I am going to finally take the plunge and get a DS with the following games:

New Mario Brothers
Mario Kart
Phantom Hourglass
Sonic Rush Adventure
**Tetris


** = maybe. Anyone care to give any insight on the selection

Feel free to say that one of those games is crap. I'd rather hear it here than get it and say to myself that the game is crap.

Any other thoughts on games?

We should really start a thread with DS owners.

Tell the games they have and rate them on how they like them.

I am more and more curious now (especially since I will be dropping 300+ tonight)

For a good puzzler, instead of Tetris get this game! It's way better.

I also recommend you pick up Elite Beat Agents. It's a must for every DS owner!

What is the premise of that game?

Did that already reviewed like 3 games...

+1 on Elite Beat Agents. I enjoy the gameplay, although it is a fair warning that you overlook the playlist as most of it is mainstream Pop music, which may or may not strike a nerve. I think it is very fun.

Do an advanced search for DS from the pull-down menu...and sort by "average score" and limit it to the top 50 results.

Look through those and you'll find plenty of good stuff to choose from.

I guess I fail when it comes to getting my thought across.

Reviews on sites are good, but I am curious to find out how other people here feel about their games.

Fact of the matter is I dropped 300 last night on a ds lite and 5 games. I am highly addicted to Phantom Hourglass. It will be a while before I pop the seal on the other game packages.

K here goes:

New Super Mario Bros- Good game over all, like the music and like the way the game looks and feels. Only flaw is how easy this game is you can easily sit through and in a hour you will have completed the game no replay value at all.

Star Fox ds- Awesome game controls are very intuitive feels like you are really flying the R wing. Game lets you use alot of diff characters lots of diff scenarios, and the multiplayer is fun. A must buy and play game.


I'll put more up later I gotta go to class, games left Metroid, Phoenix Wright, Mario Kart, Brain Age, FF3, Phantom Hourglass, Shohen Jump, Mario 64, Resident Evil.

ugh im so mad about sonic dark chronicles getting a crap review looks like my ds won't be turned on for another 6 months
