audacity with the lame encoder is what i use to convert.

waxdj.com lets you host up to 100mb, for streaming or download. gives you stats and ratings from the listeners as well, very nice service.

is what i use also

gives u teh ability to upload 200Mb per file...unlimited files, stay on the site forever. There us a play button so listeners can play file w/o havign to download...keeps track of downloads and what not...

I didn't even know there were non-free converters. Use the LAME codec with any front-end (like RazorLame), both are free and give more or less the best possible quality.

+1. razorlame is what i use. and i can't believe people actually pay for such programs.

I personally dont pay for them i only use their free trials

why use a free trial which expires some day anyway when you can get a free program to do the same things and, on most cases, even better?!
