-- i have an idea...

Posted by wizniz on Oct-10-2007 18:36:

i have an idea...

and its going to be great.
first, however, i need a snazzy looking logo.

the project is called "Your Theory" and has to do with a great project which i am about to undertake through which i hope to share music. (legally too haha!) its going to be massive and therefore deserving of a sweet logo.

heres an idea my buddy jeremy came up with...

i welcome you all to photohax, remix, edit, or completely overhaul it for great justice... and sweet logos.

thanks cor3!

tell us more about this...idea

Posted by lcid on Oct-10-2007 18:40:

for sweet jesus' sake, tell your friend Jeremy - never ever ever use the gold-white-blue gradient that is one of the default layer styles in Photoshop.

other than plastic wrap, i think that might be one of the most overused Photoshop "tricks" that people incorporate into their designs that just ends up looking generic and cheap.

i'd h4x you up a logo if i didn't have a billion other things i had to h4x up in Photoshop.

Posted by d.case on Oct-10-2007 18:40:

more information might inspire some to create a better logo

Posted by wizniz on Oct-10-2007 18:42:

media will rain down from the heavens upon great steeds utilizing flash drive technology to rid the world of all that is pretty when polished but truly is garbage... or at least offer a haven for those who are sick of it.

the design should be futuristic and yet personal. it should also suggest variety and quality somehow.

godspeed, designers. godspeed.

modeselektor - godspeed

open original JPG, add some layers, save project as PSD, export to JPG again... voila, remix!

aren't those essentially the same thing?

unless you mean iTunes as in the iTunes player...because beatport is already working on a player of their own. so in reality, your plan is a bit silly
