The closest thing I'll get to trance is James Holden. He doesn't even play trance, but he has a lot of melodic elements in his music. He is not a human being.

As for house... too hard to choose. Lawler, Zabiela, Sander, Burridge, just to name a couple.

What about techno, minimal, or tech-house?
