THE DISQUALIFIED DJ OF 2007 DJ MAG POLL IS MAKING A 1015 APPEARANCE ON NEW YEARS EVE 2008!!! IT WILL BE MY BEST NEW YEARS EVER!!!!!

today (well yesterday too) i found out that Christopher Lawrence is disqualified from DJ MAG voting...
it is disheartening... for me this is a sad sad day... not that he's disqualified... but to find out that they thought he was cheating was just soooo painful... to find out that they thought he was a dishonest person is just so UNREAL!!!!

If you have met Christopher personally, like i have....you will never find a more humble and DOWN TO EARTH dj with a great sense of humor, very friendly to fans... just straight up Gangsta'... he's FOR REAL! this guy is the nicest dj (person) that you will ever meet behind the decks...

It is just so out of character to find that Christopher thought of cheating... when i first read his name i was about to pluck my eyes out becuase i know im not seeing it thru my own pair of eyes, that Chrsitohper was disqualified because of cheating?????!!!!

I will stand up with Christopher on this, i dont belive that he's cheating... I will support him even though he would lose credibility to many that believe DJ MAG...

I will never ever ever vote on DJ Mag again... you messin wiht CL, you messin with me Mo'fawker... yeah people said every year "it's bogus... it's a stupid poll"... bahh.. we all still vote anyways... why i vote... i only vote for CL, because without CL i wouldn't even be here in the EDM scene... now a DJ that can change life truly deserve my number one vote every year!...

hey... people can lie... but the sound of CL trance flowing into ur body making you dance all night CAN NOT LIE, and this is what CL is to me, a real DJ that still make me believe that trance is alive, and partying and wastin ur money on clubs is worth it...

i don't know about that. i'm pretty sure they don't even need to ask for votes, especially pvd. i've noticed on myspace pvd and tiesto didn't even post millions of retarded bulletins asking for votes, unlike christopher lawrence for which i've seen tons.

That is correct Bucke, but no one is putting a gun to your head either to vote for him. You can choose not to. Myspace at this moment is such a huge marketing site and its no mystery that everyone uses it for these reasons. It's your choice anyway. Its CL's choice to use it as well. There's nothing wrong with that. I get CL's posts as well but I did request to be on his friends list because I support him. Did you request him as well?

I'm supercharged for this night and CL will definately bring it. Lets get JOOF as well!!

exactly....i'm not gonna vote for a dj just cuz they desperately ask for votes, i vote cuz i want to and cuz i like their music. i've seen soo many desperate smaller dj's asking everyone to vote for them like its a life or death situation - its just a stupid poll.

btw anyone check out thedjlist.com? seems like a much more accurate site, and more up to date. if you compare that site with the djmag poll you will see some major differences in ranking.

For progression of the night, it would make zero sense to me. Dan is house. CL is basically like J00F these days. Might as well be a massive....I personally would not be happy if these two were lined up in the main room with it being a club.

Like Acosta and Max Graham playing at Ten like a month ago. Lineup made no sense to me...and seems like it making no sense to meactually made sense. Wasn't there personally, just going by the impressions/texts I got that night from people attending.

I could see Dan playing before some trance acts, but not CL. Personally, I think Dan's style would fit perfectly upstairs with the crowd that usually files into that room and the house that's usually played up there....great sound system upstairs, too. (Oh TAJ, please don't hate me if these two DJs are indeed set to play at Ten on NYE and they are both set to play the main room...just giving my opinion :-p)

Max Graham actually did a great job of opening for Acosta that night. For the first hour and half he played pretty hard and then brought down the last half of his set. Personally, I think 3 hours for him was a bit long and I lost interest after he's set started to wind down.

Dj Dan in the main room would be pretty cool and I'll agree with you Dave that he should definitely play before CL if this 100% confirmed for the main room.

i understand progression musically, but dan in the upsatairs room would dissapoint me. ive seen dan and cl play at ruby a couple of times together, and it wasnt that bad. dan was before cl both times also. i like the upstairs room, but it wouldnt do it for me, i just wouldnt go at all. hope hes in main room
