There was a titan missle base in the town I grew up in during the summers. The one in Alburg, VT also was sold on ebay. We used to ride our bikes around the base. Everything was underground too, and a lot of it was filled in and asphalted over.

For a while it was used by public works and stored their trucks, gravel and road salt in the hangars. I don't know what the buyer ended up doing with it, but it looks quite a mess by looking at the satellite images.
