Thinking of going to Portland, Oregon

Any tips of where to go? Where to eat? Where to drink (I hear there are amazing breweries and pubs around portland)? Any portlanders around to help me out? I'll be staying for about 3 days and would like to spend less money rather than more .

Though, Portland has quite the little tech boom going on right now. I do need to get up there soon and check the city out.

I noticed a lot more people are porky. I also noticed it's WAY easier to tell the pretty girls from the ugly ones -- they're so much more natural looking up there. Down here it gets disguised by plastic surgery, crazy hair/makeup, etc. My lady agreed when I told her this. As far as places to eat I really can't name any good ones. If you're a Simpsons fan, keep a lookout for the street signs - I believe Matt Groening got most of the characters' names from there.

As far as sights to see, I'd highly recommend Multnomah Falls. It's about 20-30 minutes outside of Portland and it's well worth it. You can hike all the way up to the top of the falls (yeah I'm out of shape and never exercise, and I still made it fairly easily -- plus it's all paved) and the view is just gorgeous! You just don't get that kind of green scenery around here.

Also OMSI (Oregon Museum of Science & Industry) is pretty cool. We saw the Body Worlds exhibit there. I don't know if it's still going, but that's also amazing.

As far as EDM I really didn't find any places to go, but then again I didn't really look too hard. There was tons of other stuff to do.

Sure, but the few that are hot are ethier taken or knocked up. They dont waste any time there. Any guy that gets a hot one will get her good and pregnant to keep her around. Then she joins the hog catagory cuz she wont ditch the baby fat. Sad really. They dont call it Porkland for nothing.

While I'm sure that's true, you also have Portland State University and the University of Portland less than 10 miles from each other -- I don't think there would be that much trouble finding hot girls on a 3 day trip I saw plenty when I went out to the bars downtown.
