rank1 vs kylie/bird from steps??? - true love never dies - anyone have a copy?
hey guys.
some might remember a bootleg 'true love never dies'. of which, that awful flip and fill track was born with the vocals of kelly lorena was built around.
does anyone know of a copy on unmixed cd? or a high quality 'non vinyl' ripped version.
i know it is an illegal boot, but cannot find info about the bootlegger or the original source of this awsome bootleg.
this tune brings back the glory days of 2000 for me and i would love to find a decent copy of it..
rich

| Originally posted by richg101 amazing! was that from a big store like virgin? or a indy record store? any writing/title on the vinyl? i had it on a mix disk from benidorm. the track that followed was 'gate 6 - dance with the devil'. equally cheesy but equally fun. |
I have the white too....somewhere...
Oh wow im getting nostalgic....and nauseous
The glory days of 2000, even if there is such a thing, is this it?!? You must be kidding me.
When I read the title I thought "my god, this will be awful" I then read the replies agreeing with the majority. Then I decided to actually play the clip and the memories came flooding back. When I was 17 and just about old enough to start going out drinking down the town, this mix was played all the time in the towny clubs and I fucking loved it. Never realised exactly what the mash up was but I had plenty of fun moments when this was on.
Thanks Rich for bringing back the memories!

I have the full unmixed version - but i dont think its very good quality - 192K at the most. Its one of my fave bootlegs, brings back memories - but the Kelly Lorrena remake was terrible..
I dont think it was Kylie who actually sang on the original bootleg, think its someone else but covering the old kylie song..
LOL.
Good track, indeed brings back nostalgic memories.
It was possibly the only shot of a decent record coming on in the super cheesy clubs when I was younger. Albeit with the vocal it still has epic production.
paypal me 40 and i'll find an mp3, convert to .wav & send it to you
what point are you trying to make?
i like the trancecore (or whatever you call it) version a lot better.
