LA peeps...whatever happened to Thomas Michael?

he was an La area DJ, that i had seen a few times around LA and around the country....anyone know what became of him?

Thomas Michael was a great DJ. Used to be one of my favs back when i first got into the scene. I heard he had a really bad drinking problemm, and also that he had gotten himself into some serious troubles with other people and could not afford to have his name on a flyer telling everybody where he would be a a particular time. But this is just what i heard, i dont know him personally.

Last I saw him was either at orion or q-topia about 3 or 4 yrs ago. Now back to my regularly scheduled job of not helping anyone or anything...

No thanks!

I think I've got the market cornered on being "completely useless". In fact, I think I am well into the "making things worse" business now...

Last time I talked to Thomas he is doing fine. Mainly surfing and smoking pot. He has had promoters tried to book him but he really just isn't into it anymore. He sold pretty much all his studio gear and still lives in the valley. Thomas was always cool with me but he rubbed a lot of people the wrong way which is probably as something to do with things.

Rubbed people the wrong way? Wth? I don't think so. Thomas was a very mellow easy going cat. He played a lot of sets at Club Rubber in OC and down at their one offs in San Diego as late as 2003 - 2004? His real last name is Piazza or something close to that.

Anyone on here used to go to the Reseda roller rink? I'm talking parties thrown by Sporty & Nike, Warm & Fuzzy, ROAM, etc. The days when it was ok to where candy and the average raver was 17 to 25.
