Anyone interested in a Volvo C70

Hey folks, this may not be the forum for this; however, I figured I would give it a shot.

You may know my father recently passed away. He was leasing a 2007 Volvo C70 T5 hard-top convertable. This is a fantastic car; however, without him around to drive it we clearly do not need it. I'm looking for someone to take over the lease... the payments are approx $970/month, 24 months left on the term. If anyone is interested PM me, I'll provide more details.

Thanks,

Craig

Check out www.leasebusters.com

Probably the best site if you want someone to take over a lease.

Good luck!

It's definately a nice car, but I think the monthly payments are too high for most people here. Plus you can finance a Z06 or 911 Carrera S for that kind of money.

a) there are a lot of people here that can easily afford the payments.
b) how long do you plan on financing that 911?... it's a $130,000 car... that's $2166/month on a 60 month finance terms with zero interest.....

It definitely is a nice car.

And $900 a month isn't that expensive. I'm sure there are ppl here, or parents who can afford one or have company leases for atleast that much.

I'm sure my dad would be interested but he's tied up in his company lease for another year or so.

If it were me, I'd finance it until I got a house. ~10 year.
Another thing you failed to mention is that this C70 isn't new, so if you were to compare it to a 997S, it would have to be a used one, which can be had for around ~80k USD with low miles.

If things go as planned, I might have a white 997
But that will be within the next 5-10 years, and it wouldn't be financed. For now it's nothing more than a dream

You're comparing apples to oranges. The vehicles are not similar enough, someone in the market for a porsche is not going to be interested in a Volvo... either way the payments on this are less.

I'll give you that, but you do agree that you can have a similar condition Z06 or 997S for the same monthly payments, right?

How did we get from a 911 carrera S to a 997S?

Most the 'vettes and boxters I see are between $1100 and $1500... not quite the same payments.

okay then... again we're back to $2,166/month over 60 months with 0% financing... so, don't pretend you know what you are talking about.

BTW, the use of the word peasant just gives away that you are, in fact, skilton... subsequently, you are now on my ignor list.... bye skilton
