taxiing home

Never been that far downtown without a designated driver or a taxi pool. Farthest I've ever gone was level and some other turd clubs in the area... but I've never been to any of the real clubs! Does anyone live up north (thornhill/richmond hill)? Or do people ride the rocket since you leave the club due time lol321?#

My place to downtown = $50 straight with or without meter.I have done it couple times.

GUV to my place (Rathburn & Tomken) is $50 with meter..i always get it down to $25-40 depending on time of night/morning.

Dont worry in 20 more years most of your electro house clubs will be in 905 area.

don't tease me

think it was 70 bucks from level to my place in aurora one night... (hate that place/only went there once btw :P)
better to take the blue night bus and get a cab from Steeles.

when i went to the phoenix one night it was 90 bucks to get home, but with 5 people it's not so bad!

I live in Aurora, so when I drive downtown I make it count.

Other than that, my CAA Plus card saves my a55 for up to 200km. If I'm ever too wasted to drive, I could call them saying my car won't start or alternator's bad, and I would get my drunken a55 and car towed all the way home.

thats fantastic lol.

reminds me of that commercial on right now, they drunk guys ordering pizza at the store for delivery then hopping in the pizza guys back seat

It would cost me close to $60.00 to take taxi.

I've only taken a taxi when I can use a company taxi chit.

If i can't get a ride or something i'll just take the Go Train home. It runs every hour pretty much on the Lakeshore line so I can just hop on whenever.

First train starts at 6:43AM which is fine cause i'm usually out till then anyways.

But I usually just drive.

You can get downtown from Aurora for about $8 it'll take a littble bit of time but the price is fair.

Posted by CAKE on Oct-17-2007 13:20:

If I don't have a ride from Kitchener to Toronto I always take the Greyhound limo, with student discount it's $25 .. $50 without. One time I was desperate to get home at a weird hour and I took a cab back to Kitchener form downtown the cabby told me it was $180 flat rate I talked him down to $150 MOST EXPENSIVE FARE EVER!

Posted by SasH21 on Oct-17-2007 13:54:

About $25 for me from downtown to my house in Queensway and Windemere. I do it quite often sometimes even twice a week, but lately have been trying to save, so my cab budget is $100 a month at the most....Hm...I should probably buy a car

I used to do that. It's fucking insane. I stopped doing it.
I used to stay up all night, then come home, stay up the rest of the day then sleep. It's fucked up. Totally not worth it for me.

No! I wasn't on any type of drugs. I did drink alcohol, but would sober up.

Posted by VolumE_TO on Oct-17-2007 18:02:

sonic was excellent, leave at 9 and just take transit all the way..

i know some guv events go that long but i always miss those ones lol... or my friends bitch out and i have to leave before the end.
