Unhappy don't u hate it when...

You have an older car, and you spend more money on repairs than you would have on leasing a new car?

Although I have been through many good times & memories with my car, I'm really sick & tired of spending on average like $300/month on repairs. Some of you know just how much I spent on it in the last year.

I don't wanna throw my poor car away, but eventually, I'm going to have to. I just don't know where to get started on looking for a new car.

300 month what kind of car is it.

Posted by L.E.N. on Oct-17-2007 16:46:

CarMax.

Whatever you do dont buy brand new. Get certified preowned. Cars lose like $6,000 in value just taking it home brand new. I made that mistake twice. Never again. As long as it has a long warranty.

Accord.

Ok, well, i don't spend $300 a month exactly, but like one month, I spent $700... then a couple months later, I spent $200, then a few months later, another $300, etc...

The poor thing has like over 100,000 miles. I have taken good care of it, and it's still in ok condition, but something always seems to fall apart in my car every other month.

I'm scared to lease a new car, cuz my friends who have say they can only drive like a certain amount each year (14,000 miles/year), and if you go over that, it costs an arm & a leg. Just driving back & forth to work every day for a year probably comes out to more than that.

WTF? What if I wanna drive to like SF or Vegas?

i bought a honda crv 5 years ago brand new. i have always bought honda's, they have been good reliable cars. i have 106,000 miles on it and it still runs perfectly. i have only had the regular maintance done, she's been good to me
i do have to get my rear brakes done in the next couple of weeks though, ugh, i hate spending $$$ on my car though, so i totally understand how you feel julia

Idea Need a new car?

Per Gil LA:

"Hey Guys,

If anyone needs a new car, please hit me up before getting raped at the dealer. Thats what i do for a leaving so if you just need some advice, i'm here to help. I'm an auto broker and I can get you pretty much any car. If you have questions in regards to leasing vs purchasing or want to know what are the best lease specials, just ask. Ask Josh Allen, I got him his new car hassle free. "

If you have any questions regarding leasing or buying a car I can help you!

Im an Internet/Fleet Manager at McKenna BMW, Audi, Porsche in Norwalk. If you're interested in any of those, I could most defenitely hook you up! It's what I do. Auto brokers like Josh Allen work with us because we give them the cars really cheap.

(Sorry man, but im a have to steal your business)

Reality is, I can give a better deal than an autobroker! Any day!!

And though leasing does have its restrictions, its easy to get around them depending of a persons situation and what they want to do at the end of the lease.

if you average 300 a month, you can buy a nice car and your payments will be lower than 300 a month.

Whats going on man?!

To answer your question.

The MSRP for a base 328i is $34,450. Paying cash, or leasing, I should be able to do $32,995 + tax n license. Considering you are planning to purchase in March.

300 miles? Damn, I would constantly be paranoid and not want to drive anywhere, in fear of going over the miles. I do a lot of driving... from going to work every day, to visiting my parents on the weekends, and other places...

That's so lame.

S-line TT's are a bit rare, but wouldn't be a problem to aquire. Yes all TT's whether the Roadster (obviously) or the Coupe are 2 seaters.

No. The vehicle itself would be a magnet.
If I give you good price, will you please put in pussy magnet?
