World cup baby

Here's your football thread

Ok here we go, what's your 3 picks for this world cup and the team you hate the most

Don't give me one team only cause it'll be boring.

Also, as Mastercongo mentionned, I'm up to gather to see those games at Peel Pub or any place decent place

Ok here's my picks:
1-France
2-Argentina
3-Germany (my all time favorite time, but for this cup I'm not that sure)

Hated team: Brazil.....aaaah bunch of egocentric monkeys, 2nd is England........arrogant punks

YEAHHHHHHHHHH WORLD CUP BABY

merci Malek d'avoir pris l'initiative i think we should all watch together some games in a pub (like Champs in St-Laurent street)

i love these teams :

1-France (they will win once again)
2-Argentina (i love the way they play)
3-Senegal/Cameroun (GO Africa GO GO GO u have enough talents to defend the whole continent)

i hate :

1-England (they are not here to win ... and they are not here to loose , ils sont la pour faire chier tout le monde)
2-Saudi Arabia & Tunisia (shame on them they are the worst arab teams but yet they are playing the world cup)
3-norway (they won't play the world cup this time but they have the most boring style of playing ever , no techniques at all ... suckas)

Top three teams:


1. France - I am routing for them all the way. And as we have all seen they definitely have the talent. Players like zidane, henri, vieira.. incredible team.

2. Argentina - I dont know much about them but i know they have lots of skill.. Batistuta will be interesting to watch

3. Portugal or Spain. Im also kind of routing for these teams. I like portugal becuase like holland they are a small country with incredible talent. They could cause alot of trouble. And well I like spain just cause they are spain!

You also HAVE to expect Italy will do well this year. I am sure they are looking for revenge after 2000. And Brazil could cause some trouble. Especially if Ronaldo can piece it together in time. He's back and it looks like brazil could surprise some.

1- GERMANY!

although i dont believe that they will the worldcup...i've been a great supporter since ever!

my predictions is that either argentina or espana are goin to win..

Hated teams : France & Brazil

france will certainly be challengers but will NOT win the WC this time!!

Italy wont be easy at all as well...best of luck to inzaghi and maldini

No way dude... I'm not setting foot there ever! These bastard charge cover!!! They even asked me once 20$ for a game, I mean I like Bayern, but I wasn't dying to see that game.

This time all games should be on cable, so we shouldn't have any trouble checking those games anywhere there's a tv.

baggio too if they let him.. but actually I hope italy looses. I went to a very italian high school and lots of friends are italian.. I remember one of the greastest days of my life was when france scored those two goals to beat italy in 2000. They were devistated haha.

ya man it was when the us held the world cup.. (94?) they were trying to find ways to improve american recruitment.
